When mounting on rough surfaces, this product can easily cause the viscosity to decrease, so it's best to use as smooth a surface as possible.

It's important to note that extreme temperatures will result in poor adhesive performance. Apply this seal only if the air and surface temperature is between 55°- 104°F (13° - 40°C). If the temperature is between 45°-54°F (7° - 12°C), you can use a hair dryer to warm the tape and surface of a 6-inch (15cm) section at a time, then apply. If the adhesive of the weatherstripping is not sticky enough, you can apply the adhesive tape attached in the package for better results.
